According to moconews.net Sony Ericsson will be adding an app store capability to PlayNow, which in the past offered entertainment content only. SE will outsource the application distribution to GetJar. Flash Lite developers should be able to distribute Flash Lite content, packaged as java midlets, to SE project capuchin phones through this arrangement.

It is not yet clear whether developers will be able to sell content directly to consumers through the PlayNow store. At this time it seems all content distributed by GetJar is free to end users. Developers may need to work through other business models such as in-application ad revenue, or work-for-hire jobs rather than selling direct to consumer.
