According to a press release from Adobe, Adobe is collaborating with ARM to bring Flash 10 and AIR to the ARM 11 platform. This could bring Flash 10 and AIR to all sorts of consumer level electronic devices including mobile phones, set-top boxes and automotive devices. The processors are expected to be available in second half of 2009, with devices containing the processors coming later.

By collaborating with ARM, Adobe hopes to optimize Flash 10 and AIR performance on mobile devices by taking advantage of hardware acceleration for video and graphic display.
