SEDW posted a news item stating that it will be extending support for its Project Capuchin to its future line of Symbian Foundation based phones. Project Capuchin is a system that enables Flash Lite to access device apis through a Java midlet.

The news item does not state that SE will make its Project Capuchin technology solution available to other manufacturers in the Symbian Foundation. But, at least we have a commitment that future SE symbian phones will support Project Capuchin in addition to SE’s proprietary OSE feature phone platform.
