According to Brighthand, it looks like momentum is starting around the release of Internet Explorer 6 for windows mobile 6.1. This version of IE supports a pre-installed Flash Lite 3 as an extension of the browser, along with Silverlight. Manufacturers are expected to release devices supporting this version of IE later this year and early 2009.

Note that this version of Flash Lite is intended for the browser, not as a standalone player. We should probably hear more from Adobe in a few weeks regarding standalone options for Flash Lite on windows mobile.
