Computer world article on Flash Lite 3 for Windows Mobile
Computer world recently published an article on the impact of Flash Lite for Windows Mobile. Eric Lai of computer world contacted me about the recent Adobe Microsoft deal and some of my thoughts are paraphrased in the article.
You can read the article at the Computer world web site.
My main concern with the Windows Mobile deal, as others have pointed out, is whether the browser “plug-in” as described in the Adobe press release can run as an ActiveX control with a 3rd party .NET application. If it can, this would enable developers to create “outside the browser” standalone types of content like games and applications.
Of course we can also run these types of content if the player runs only within the browser, but the user experience is quite different because of the browser “chrome” and developers do not have the traditional mobile content download business model.

Ciao Hayden,
it might be a question for the licenses of WM OS?
