Sony Mylo labs: Netfront widgets and Flash Lite games

I’ve been reading about the Sony Mylo and ran across the Mylo labs web site, which has information on developing content for Mylo. The Sony Mylo is an internet device with Flash Lite 3 integrated into the Netfront 3.4 web browser. The site has forums and documentation which currently focus on creating widget applications for Netfront. There is also some discussion of how to add Flash Lite games to the Mylo. Note that Sony Mylo COM 2 supports Flash Lite and Netfront widgets.

c905 first Project Capuchin phone

Sony Ericsson recently announced the c905 cyber-shot phone, the first phone supporting SE Project Capuchin. Project Capuchin is a technology that extends a Flash application by enabling the Flash Lite player to access J2ME APIs on SE phones. According to the SEDW documentation, the C905 has Flash Lite 2.0 pre-installed.

Forum Nokia code challenge winner

I was recently informed by Nokia that my wiki post on creating a reusable Flash Lite 1.1 component was selected as a Forum Nokia code challenge winner in the Flash Lite category. Faisal Iqbal was also selected as a Flash Lite Forum Nokia code challenge winer for the Oxygen developer’s kit.
