According to a recent Wall Street Journal article, Nokia has been subtly improving its business relationships with North American network operators to regain market share. This should be good news for Flash Lite market penetration in NA market.
Computer world recently published an article on the impact of Flash Lite for Windows Mobile. Eric Lai of computer world contacted me about the recent Adobe Microsoft deal and some of my thoughts are paraphrased in the article.
Adobe’s recent announcement that Microsoft has licensed Flash Lite 3 should shift the mobile news conversation away from iPhone = no flash to Windows Mobile = Flash Lite 3. Obviously having Microsoft license Flash Lite 3 for Windows Mobile is a big deal, and is especially important for the North American market.
SEDW (Sony Ericsson Developer World) is involved with a mobile developer survey by Recom. The goal of the survey is to assess the effectiveness of information and tools available for mobile developers. The survey includes questions about Flash Lite, SEDW and Adobe Developer.
