What about Flash Lite for Sony Ericsson?

One Flash Lite platform we do not seem to hear much discussion about are Sony Ericsson OSE phones. Currently these are walkman series phones running SE’s proprietary OSE operating system. Flash Lite is implemented in the browser, and many models support SWF screensavers and wallpapers.

Since SE is one of the top 3 manufacturers and distributes devices world wide, this is an important Flash Lite platform. Along with Nokia series 40 phones, it is the main target device for SWF screensavers. However, in my opinion, it has some problems for offline types of game and application oriented content.

Archos 605 and 405 to support Flash in browser

Amazon is now listing the ARCHOS 605 Portable Media Player (PMP) for sale starting September 1. The ARCHOS 605 is a 800 x 480 touch screen device, with WI-FI capability and can support the Opera web browser with Flash player for viewing video.

Flash Lite capable phones in North America

I have created a listing, by platform, of Flash Lite and Flash mobile capable phones in North America (US and Canada). This may be of use to developers who are curious about Flash mobile market penetration in North America, or for those who are deploying content or applications specific to the U.S. or Canadian market.
