Sony Mylo labs: Netfront widgets and Flash Lite games

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

I’ve been reading about the Sony Mylo and ran across the Mylo labs web site, which has information on developing content for Mylo. The Sony Mylo is an internet device with Flash Lite 3 integrated into the Netfront 3.4 web browser. The site has forums and documentation which currently focus on creating widget applications for Netfront. There is also some discussion of how to add Flash Lite games to the Mylo. Note that Sony Mylo COM 2 supports Flash Lite and Netfront widgets.

Samsung YP-P2 firmware Flash Lite games?

Wiicade is offering two $200 sponsorships for Flash games

Monday, January 7th, 2008

Wiicade, a web portal offering Flash games for Nintendo Wii, is offering two $200 sponsorhips for Flash games. This means you get $200 for your Flash game if selected.

Of note, Wiicade has an ActionScript/javascript solution for trapping many more of the Wii controller events than directly supported by Flash. Wii supports a version of Flash 7. Unfortunately, there is no information from Adobe about the feature of this Flash 7 player.

Visit the Wiicade blog for more information.
